Air King . . . Explorer II . . .

So, my 22 year old TT DJ 16013 in with the RSC getting made pretty again and I've fallen under the influence of some here on the forum. Last week I was visiting my local AD and took a shine to the Explorer II with a black dial. I posted about my visit and of course many of the members here (who are probably known as "the usual suspects") chimed in with do it, do it, etc. Well, I've been looking on this forum quite a bit and checking out other online sources, and gaining a lot of respect for the Air King. The little guy is growing on me.

I have an 8" wrist and never found the DateJust to be too small for my wrist. I'm wondering if some of y'all here with 8" or larger wrist wear a 34mm Rolex like the Air King? And, if you do wear a 34mm Rolex, have you found that any color looks better than others on a large wrist, like white, black or blue? Right now I'm wearing a 41mm Seiko Kinetic (backup watch) and it looks good, but after 22 years, I guess I've gotten use to a 36mm.

I'm sure the "usual supects" will not waste a moment in post something along the line of, "Hey, no problemo, just get both. "
