1962 Navy SEAL issue Sub/no date
All,
My Uncle who is a retired SEAL, was issued a Rolex Sub-no date in 1962 by the Navy. It is in average condition as he wears it every day, and has not been abused. He is not a collector and has no idea what his watch is really worth. He wants to insure it, and I thought that someone here might have a guess as to it's current insurable value. He thinks is maybe worth around $500.00. I told him he will be surprised, but I have no idea, but I know it's way more than $500.00. Do any of you want to give a ballpark guess?? We would be grateful. Thank you, David |
