Not over happy how the crown on that clasp looks , then again impossible to tell by that quality of picture . Even then it just could be aftermarket and therefor not mean that the actual watch is a fake . You can try and post some goos close ups of the dial , clasp codes , bracelet number , . Then take off the bracelet and take pictures of what is engraved between the lugs . You can start to compare the documents with that data for yourself .

thanks for the advice. i REALLY want to learn how to spot fakes! i am currently in the hospital for a few days (hence why i actually have time to post), and will heed your recommendation when they let me out of here!
