exchange?

Hey Guys,

Bought a GMT IIC a week ago and I can not get comfortable with it on my wrist. It is not the size, as I have 2 other 40mm+ watches. A Breitling and a Tag. It seems as if it is either riding to low on my wristand hurting the back of my hand, or it is too tight if I move it above the wrist bone. So my question is this. Do you think the dealer would let me exchange it for a datejust? Can you usually exchange a watch that you have worn for a week? Has this happened to anyone else?

Thanks
