Newbie help request - Quickset or not?

First off, thanks to the board. I had asked if I should get a Ulysse Nardin or SS DJ and I am going with the DJ. I will be buying a used one in excellent condition.

That said, I have 2 options which are identical looking (white face, roman dial, etc) but one is a Quickset and the other is not.

My questions for you

1) Is the quickset feature important? Or just another "nice to have but not a must"
2) The DJ Quickset is $2000 and the same looking DJ, no quickset, is $1700 -- which would you pick and why.

This will be my first Rolex, and I hope to wear it or have it for at least 5-10 years and then will be re-selling it to upgrade. So resale value does matter to me.
