Reguarding the size of a watch. I was told by master watchmaker friend of my mother that a watch was too big if the watch distracted from you the person. The 30 to 36mm sizes were considered to be normal for the male and 20 to 28 mm for the female. The same rule for the watch distracting from you also applies with bling. By the way, my mother's friend obtain his master's certification from a small Swiss firm "Patek Phillipe". He passed away in the early 80's. He was great influence in my love for watches.
