Finally got the courage to...change my bezel

Hello Good Folks,

Please indulge me as I'm rather proud of myself! Last summer, I had the bezel on my GMT changed back to its original Pepsi configuration. The work was done by an AD for a nominal fee. When I got the watch back, I noticed that the triangle on the bezel (sorry, I don't know if there is a technical term for said triangle) did not line up EXACTLY with the triangle at 12:00. It was close but not precise...and this bothered me more than I care to admit. IMHO, a Rolex defines precision so nothing should be amiss. Anyway, in an attempt to control my OCD/neurosis, I lived with my cock-eyed bezel until now. (I must confess that I was also somewhat embarrassed at the thought of bringing the watch back to the AD to have the bezel reinstalled properly and him thinking I was a hyper anal Rolex owner...which I guess I am!). So, fast forward to +/- 15 mins. ago. After reading the various DIY posts, including "Jocke's (Most Excellent) Bezel Replacement Tutotrial," I summoned the courage to tackle the job myself. Although I was sweating profusely, I managed to take the bezel out -- without scratching it or the rest of the watch -- and reinstall it properly. I am now ready to quit my job and work at RSC.

Thank you to all of you who posted instructions. And thank you to those of you who followed the instructions and then took the time to let those of us who are a little more...eh, um, ah...cowardly...know that we could do it too.

Cheers,
