Submariner goes to the Hill

I had some meetings on the Hill today, I was going to wear the DSSD but let's face it, that monster just doesn't work with a suit, so my trusty old Submariner got to tag along. I won't bore you with the content about the meetings with various people, but show some photos instead from a sweltering hot and humid Washington, DC.

DC-story of the day: I was stupid/late enough to take my car to the Hill and quickly realized that, even if it is vacation time, there still isn't any public parking around there. So I managed to tip a parking attendant $20 to let me put my car on a government lot - he was happy and I was happy - and I ran off to my meeting. When I got back I had a $20 parking ticket from the US Capitol Police and the attendee needless to say didn't care or offered me a refund. Learned a lesson.
