Why Cant I hold onto a Rolex?
Hello Guys,
I have quite a problem on my hands here. I am not a huge collector but enjoy having a few watches in my collection. I have had the following over the years: 1) Rolex Classic Jubilee Datejust with white roman dial. K series serial bought it pre owned, it was my first nice watch and I got it when I was about 22 in 2002. After selling this I did not really have any nice watches until the sub no date purchase in 2009. 2) Submariner 14060M No Date. Z Serial bought it pre owned in 2009 and sold it about 6 months later. Not to crazy about the clasp on it. 3) GMT II-C random serial purchased in September 2010 brand new and sold it about three weeks later! Now my question is what is it about Rolex that makes me sell them? This year i purchased a classic Breitling Navitimer and Omega sapphire speedmaster both brand new and have no intention on selling either of them. I have a small wrist and I am not sure if the 40mm thing bothers me or what. Either way I need some help, should I try the new Sub-C or possibly even a pre owned 16610? Not sure but I dont want to give up on Rolex yet. I figured (3) watches is good for me so this would be my last for a while. Not sure what to do!! |
