YES! Just got my new 116610 Submariner Ceramic!
Well guys I finally got my Rolex 116610 Sub-c and I absolutely love it!! Pictures DO NOT do this watch justice! (Sorry about the crappy iPhone pics, but I did not have time to whip out a better camera!) Definitely will post better picts hopefully tomorrow.
Here are some of my thoughts: 1.) The watch's appearance is fantastic. The JET black dial is suberb. The JET black ceramic bezel is fantastic also, honestly my favorite part of the watch next to the dial and band. The hands and hour markers are so gorgeous with their polished appearance and like a said before the pictures do not do the watch justice in terms of the polished hour markers and hands. 2.) The band. The band is phenomanal. Abosolutely love it, solid, AWESOME brushed finish - a very fine grain satin finish is the only way to explain it. In pictures it looks more rough and textured, but in person it looks more satin - unreal. 3.) The glidelock clasp. The glidelock clasp is a dream come true to people who want to be able to micro-adjust their watch on the fly, anytime, anyplace. I took out two and one-half links and then slid the glidelock in a bit and presto! This feature is also great for people who like to have the watch 'sit' or 'hang' differently for different occasions. 4.) Date magnification window is superb, the anti-glare coating over this is just what the bubble needs - I had a turn-o-graph datejust and the glare on the bubble made the date harder to see in well lit conditions. 5.) The lume is powerful and looks awesome in blue! Very even lume, when I closely examined (no loupe or magnifying glass) I could not see any inconsistencies whatsoever! Conclusion: Great, well crafted, precision made Rolex. Honestly can't go wrong with one of these - looks great with jeans and a tee or a business suit. Question, does anyones braclet squeek a bit when you straighten it out? Noticed this on the 12 o' clock side, it seems to be a link more towards the lugs that is not removable. Thoughts on this or ideas? |
