Ss sub makeover $$$$$$
I recently sent my 2001 SS sub date to a AD for some minor cosmetic part replacements. These parts were showing wear and I wanted to get brand new parts to make my SS sub look brand new again. I had them send my watch to Rolex USA for the repairs. On the list of replacements was a new clasp, bezel insert, and crown. I also had them overhaul the watch which included a polish, oiling, and new seals on the triplock.
You ask, "How much did this cost?" Well I was a little shocked myself when the bill was $1200 US dollars! Well, at least I'll have a brand new watch again and may try and sell it so I can get a sub C. |
