Rolex bubble back on Antiques Roadshop

Hello

Did anyone else see the Antiques Roadshow on UK TV on Sunday?

There was a storey about how prisoners of war could order Rolex watches via the Red Cross during the war. Apparently watches could be ordered and Rolex agreed that payment could be made after the war ended! The watches were delivered to the POWs actually in the camps.

Someone brought one of these 'bubble backs' to the show along with the Rolex paperwork and the recipient's POW papers and it was valued at about £2 to £3000 without the storey but possible double that because of it's history.

I'd never heard of this storey before, has anyone else?
