Hey guys,

I'm looking to trade my minty 1016 Rolex Explorer I with 1570 hack second mov't serial 8 mil. for a Submariner or GMT. I've re-posted to include the 1016 in my title. As I stated before, this all original gem doesn't deserve to go up 100 ft in the air on my kiteboard (what goes up always comes down, and I'm not a cat, lol), wipe out going 30 mph on my wakeboard, or survive a tropical depression on my surfboard. I guess I'm looking for a fellow adventurer who's looking to hang up the submariner/gmt and retire to the poker table with a conversation-worthy timepiece on the one hand and a nice glass of scotch in the other. I'm not picky and prefer a little wear and tear, battle scars and all, and a gentleman who understands the timeless transition of handing it off to the next generation of warriors..

I traded my local reputable watchmaker a few Breitlings for the Explorer. He got it from an estate sale and only re-illuminated the tritium markers, nothing else, untouched dial. In case we need to do an interstate trade, I will do it through Sean at Safety Harbor Jewelers, a reputable Rolex dealer and the original buyer of this watch.

p.s. If you're looking to include an oyster band, I have several vintage Buddy L's and Smith Miller's to sweeten the deal.

I have $2800 in trade on this watch. I believe it's worth somewhere between $2800-$3200 without the oyster band. Also, in the above description I mentioned my watchmaker's shop as Safety Harbor Jewelers, it's actually Main Street Jewelry located in Safety Harbor, FL 34695.
