Sub-C or GMT IIc? Which and why?

Contemplating which one to buy, I have had the sub-c (black and green)before and loved it. The glidelock clasp is phenomenal. The GMT IIc has the polished center links which I really like (but I might get a datejust that will satisfy that!). The GMT has the fourth hand that I will never use - which raises the question, if you don't use the GMT hand, then what do you set it to?

Obviously both are great watches, I don't dive, so the water resistance of the sub does not matter.

So which would you choose? Pics of the GMT or sub won't hurt!
