Wellendorff jewellery

Does anyone here know anything about Wellendorff jewellery? It is a small German family-owned manufacturer, which makes very beautiful rings, necklaces and other pieces. Their technique for making gold rope is their signature design, but I am more interested in their rings (for my wife I should add).

I have not seen them in real life, as the only AD on my island has very eclectic opening hours which never seem to coincide with my visits. The prices are pretty stellar but I don't mind paying a lot for something that is well-made, has a backstory and will give joy to my wife and our daughters for many years.

Any experiences anyone here has would be very welcome.
