agree,looking at the pics,a new pearl dropped in doesn't seem to much to ask.
Given that this is a "tool watch" it does seem parts should be slightly easier(cheaper) to replace.

Must say the OP is getting a little stick now but I think he has handled this well,he just damaged his Rolex which if his fault or not, is not easy to take,now seems to accept it was banged,lets remember he was all ready to pay the $500 before he got calls from here to ring Rolex,not sure if I would be as ready to accept it was my fault as quick,given where the dent is,I would be thinking a bang there would have resulted in the pearl dropping out straight away,not after all memory of a bang had gone away,could it not be also possible that the "dent" to have been there from the factory?....... ok probably a bang but still hard to take.
