Non-AD watches and getting an insurance appraisal
If I bought a watch from a TRF trusted seller instead of an AD, what's the best process to get an evaulation/appraisal in order to get insurance coverage? Will an AD appraise a watch without asking for a sales receipt or warranty card? Should I even care about going to an AD?
Since the watch was BNIB, is there any reason for the appraisal to not be full retail price? And, lastly, what do shops typically charge for an evaluation? Thanks!
