Picking a watch for my wife

So far these are the 2 Rolex watches we are down to. By the way my wife never showed interest in a Rolex but told me to go ahead and and buy my two tone blue sub F serial. Since she has seen me loving this watch so much now she wants one.
79173 K Jubilee dial diamond markers 18k stainless two tone Oyster brac.
79174 F Jubilee dial diamond markers all stainless, Jubilee brac.

I know this is a matter of personal choice but I would like to hear other peoples thoughts. My wife said she would like either of these.

My thoughts: Both are pre SEL and I was worried about the brac. wearing out or sagging if she wears it every day. Will the Oyster hold up better? Oyster may be easier to fix a link. I like 2 tone better but Im not wearing it but she says she likes both. The K 2 tone is $1000 cheaper which does not hurt.

She asked about the K being 3 or so years older does that effect anything?

Any thoughts?
Thanks
