FS: Rare 18K/SS Omega Seamaster Professional 'Bond', Serviced w/ Complete Set $2499
This is a very nice (very good-plus condition) example of the US market-only Omega Seamaster Professional James Bond Chronometer Ref. 2455.80 in 18K gold and stainless steel with Omega Calibre 1120 chronometer-rated automatic movement.
The watch features a 41mm stainless steel case with a uni-directional 60-minute elapsed-time bezel with excellent 18K insert. The steel case-back screws down and features the Omega Hippocampus Seamonster. The 1503 / 825 steel and 18K gold bracelet is comfortable on a 7 1/2" wrist, with one full link left to be fitted; it also has a wet-suit extension. There are normal signs of wear on the bracelet and clasp. The serial number is 80133xxx and serial numbers in the 80 million range were produced beginning in 2006. The crystal is mint, and the bright blue wave dial & yellow metal pointer hands are perfect; there is a quick-set date aperture at 3 o’clock. This Seamaster is a one-owner watch, purchased in 2006 from Jared’s Galleria of Jewelry in Colorado Springs, Colorado, and has just received a full service and new hands from Swatch Group US in Secaucus. The watch comes with the factory inner box, outer box, and the owner's instruction book. The warranty card from Sterling JLRS Inc. (dba Jared’s) is present but the pictogram & chronometer cards, from a different watch, were mixed up by the dealer at the point of sale, and have been returned to Omega. With water resistance of 300m / 1000 ft and a helium escape valve at 10 o'clock, you're looking at a classic package you don't see every day . . . $2499 plus actual carriage. Preferred forms of payment include a personal cheque, cashier's cheque, wire transfer, or money order. If payment is made by PayPal, 3% will be added for a US buyer, and 4% will be added for payment initiated in non-US funds. Please contact me through the board's PM or e-mail system. Postage will be determined by the service desired, and the delivery address or region. |
