if I buy this(pic) K-series Explorer, how can I make sure its not counterfeit?
Hi!
This is my second post here. My first one got deleted, because I was asking how to avoid VAT when sending overseas. This is super nice forum! I have spend few weeks now studying about different Rolex models and their history, and this forum has been my main source of information. So, I'm looking to buy my first Rolex, and I was hopeing you guys could help me. I found this on sale: if I buy this K-series Explorer, how can I make sure its not counterfeit? And what papers/tags came with K-series Explorer? Was there differences (in papers, boxes) if watch was sold in Europe, America or Asia? All help would be appreciated. Investing thousands of euros to watch is a new thing for me. It would be super nice, if someone has complete K-series Explorer set, and could take pics and post them here. All pictures off early 2000's Explorer's with their boxes and papers are highly well come. I was trying to post this post to Rolex Reference Library, but for some reason I didnt have permission to do so. Last edited by smooth-bezel; 11 April 2012 at 12:19 AM..
