Rolex/Cartier/Tiffany/other?
So I am looking to get my first "nice" watch in celebration of my wedding and I have been looking around for a little bit.
I have narrowed it down to.. Rolex Datejust II blue dial with arabic numerals. Cartier Calibre with SS Bracelet Cartier Ballon Bleu chrono with SS bracelet or a Tiffany Atlas 42mm chrono ( I saw this one in person yesterday and its very impressive Here are my thoughts... I like the rolex but it seems to be a bit plain compared to my other choices. In my mind it seems that the rolex is abit more rugged. My father has several rolex and they all can take a beating and servicing is almost a none issue. With the cartier and tiffany models I like their looks, what I am unsure is their reliability and toughness and servicing. Rolex just does watches.. and I really like that. The Tiffany Atlas is awesome looking with the black and white dials but im not a huge fan of the rubber on the side. So here are the two main things? Should I be rightfully worried going with a cartier or tiffany watch over rolex in regards to quality and accuracy? I mess around with a lot of aquariums. There have been times where I forget and accidentally have my watch and and go in and mess with something. Do I have to worry with any of these watches. I know the rolex are great in regards to water proof and im not worried about it with them. Thanks for any feedback |
