Going broke with the RSC

Listened to you guys and in the process of sending all the family's watches over 5 years old in for maintenance (four in total). They still have my GMT Master and I decided to send the wife's least worn, Ladies TT DJ MOP Diamonds, out for service. I took the band off to note the model number and serial number, boy what a mess...1/4 inch of gunk, and gave to the AD in same condtion as they also record the numbers. Got a call from our salesperson who noted in her sly voice...."did you get the watch new for your wife". I said no? I purchased the watch used from an individual a year or two ago. She laughed as the watch is a 1965 model and my wife was born that year. Nice surprise for her. Me wife gave me grief as that was the year I started college. I will send pics when the GMT is back. It's only a watch, but I do miss it. Hard to figure out ZULU time on the fly sometimes.
