I went to my eye doctor last week and even though he put something on my eyes to exam them, I still could see that he had a Ulysse Nardin 18K Minute Repeater Jungle watch, limited edition to 18 pieces. Retail price is about $300,000.00. I thought he bought it himself, but to my surprise it was a gift from his wife. In 30 years of watch collecting I've never heard of a wife giving her husband a watch that cost $300,000.00 and also this is the very first time I see a man wearing a watch that cost $300,000.00. She offered him another watch for their wedding anniversary, but guess what? - He refused the gift. Man, I wish I was married to her. P.S. I hope my wife never read this post. I hate to imagine what would happen to me.
