Zenith have introduced their new, ultimate flagship model, the Grande Class Traveler Répétition Minutes. Only 3 will be made each year, where a computer draws 3 lucky buyers from the waiting list. One from Europe, one from the Americas and one from Asia. The watch is the most complicated production watch to date, sporting 744 parts and 46 functions. Zenith are very particular about the ‘production’ statement because it will be just that: production. Other watches with countless complications have been made but these are usually one offs, this type isn’t. It is a regular production model. Well, regular. The price for this beauty is: US$ 617,000. And there already is a waiting list! I will try to post a scan tomorrow. I just read this in an article from a Dutch watch magazine. Perhaps it is old news to some of you. 617 grand!
