My new vintage Rolex watchband disintegrated
Boo Hoo Boo Hoo and Hissss
The red Gilden snake skin watch band on my new (vintage 1939) LADIES BREVETEE ROLEX S.A. OYSTER-14K GOLD CASE fell apart today. It just opened on both ends near the lugs and fell off. I didn't do a thing. When I looked at it, it almost looked like it had been glued in place. There was no stitching that came loose. I love this band and now I need a 10mm ladies snakeskin red watchband to replace it. I wrote to the pawnshop guy that I bought it from even though I bought it several weeks ago. I just want to cry. Here's the pic in happier days when the watch wasn't on my wrist and the band on the off ! ! ! Thankfully the watch is fine. Dang it ! ! ! |
