Signs like those are placed at the entry to the proper caves ... you face the sign and the entry behind the sign. Those entries look like black mean mouths. I don't remember if it was left or right though. It never crossed my mind to advance one extra meter. Just by looking at it, you get a very distinct feeling that you will die if you cross the line. No ifs about it. The one I remember was in fact a little bit above the sign, so you had to ascend a meter or so, cross the mouth and go in ...'' Something I would like to do if I didn't have a son and were a little bit younger, with the proper training of course.
