Show me a vintage "mint" watch

I love these terms. "Mint" What does that mean. If someone has a 15 year old Zenith Daytona that was bought for many thousands of dollars, than put in a safe never worn or taken out of the box, I want to see it. What would be the point. Does anyone really think a modern day Rolex is going to increase some astronomical value if bought new and never worn?
