Finding the Right One

Have you ever had your heart set on a particular vintage model and just never found the right one? Maybe I'm being too picky and should over look some of the corrosion, lume flaking, dial damage and hand replacements I'm seeing in some of these examples. Every time I see something new pop up in the market I find myself debating the trade-offs. Should I or shouldn't I pull the trigger?! This is supposed to be the fun of the chase, but it sure can be frustrating. Am I the only one who feels this?
