Increase in replicas and scams on eBay! Watch out!
I'm always on the prowl on eBay to find a good deal but I have recently noticed that there is an increase of replicas or straight up scams. I found all of these scams on the first search results of "rolex." That's pretty bad when I have the settings to only show 50 auctions at a time. Here are some of the links:

This is very important. Even if they have over 500 positive feedbacks but they've only sold $1-$5 dollar items, don't even bother taking the risk of getting that "sweet" deal. Most of the "recent" fraudulent auctions start off with photos stolen from watch forums or they have actual pictures of the replica watch. They have zero feedback with random user names. Auctions start at $500-$1000. You can see the pattern in the links above. I definitely believe something is going on. I wanted to share this with everyone. Please be extra careful. If the deal seems too good to be true, it usually is. |
