Here are a few of the 1461 - my perpetual, and the last one with my GMT II. The 1461 has stayed with me for some time now. It is still one of my favorites. It takes some time to adjust it, but once you have everything set up - Day, date, lunar phase, month, and of course time, it's good to go for 4 years or 1461 hours. There are times when I like the simple easy to read dial of the Explorer. The dial with it's 9 hands plus moon phase and slide rule can seem a bit overwhelming with information sometimes, but once you get used to it, it's not too bad. And yes... I still use the slide rule and it comes in handy once in a while. TY |
