Our Turn For Severe Weather

I just finished six hours of cleaning up after a severe thunderstorm last night. 4.5 inches of rain fell in a very short time. There were ducks swimming in my driveway this morning.Though my crawl space is dry, my neighbors on all sides have water up to the floor joists in their crawl spaces. I have 22 250 year-old oak trees in my yard, and the number of branches and sticks down was amazing. Unfortunately, round two is predicted for tonight.

Just two hours ago, the sky was blue and clear. This is the view right now to the southwest, the direction from which most of our weather comes.
