Bit of a random topic but I would be curious to hear some stories of you buying your Rolex.

I have read a few posts over the past year or so off people buying a watch for XXX amount and it been worth triple what they paid, I think there was one on here of a guy who bought one from a Pawn shop and it was worth about 3 x more!

Maybe you have found out it has a famous past or story behind it?

Baffles me how people dont know the true value, as they say if its too good to be true then it probably is....in 99.9% of cases.

Sorry if this has been done but I searched and it brought back all sorts of answers, I also thought it maybe a good way to meet some of the members on here.
