A little German watch porn....
Was looking for a manual wind to add to the collection for sentimental reasons. Went to my Rolex AD in Indiana as per my usual. Upon returning from Basel they had a couple new lines that carry, Tudor and Nomos. Add that to Rolex and Omega and Mount Blanc, pretty good selection. Not wanting to spend a fortune and having a rather limited selection of manual winds I started to dive into the Nomos selection. My requirements were, manual, with a date and prefer a domed crystal (just gives it some pop I think). Many did not have a date complication, couple GMT, couple 24 hour functions, fewer yet manual winds. So I ended up with an Orion Date Gb. 38mm, Shell Cordovan leather strap is really high quality. Build quality is remarkable for a watch in the $3000 range. Very happy with the purchase. Thanks for looking.
