Help!! I need some advice

OK guys here's the story. Back in November I was at my AD to pick up a repair on my wife's ring and naturally I went to "just look" at watches. I had always had an interest in the sea dweller because of all the ads in dive mags. I really wasn't looking to buy just killing time when the salesman told me about the GMT II-c he had in the safe. I told him I'd like to see it but wasn't really looking to buy. Of course I went home with it (sound like an old story?). Now here is the problem. I think I really want the SD. Should I get it now - I think I can get 10% discount before Feb price increase or wait and see what Basel brings? I think I know the answer but I really respect the opinions of all you TRFers. Also they promised me a s/s daytona some time in 08 so my watch budget is getting really stretched, and I really don't want to flip anything. HELP!!!
