RIKKI TO THE ROLEX RESCUE! Thank-You, Sir!
Hello all, greetings from Texas!
I recently made my very first forum posting in the Tech section regarding the parts/part numbers needed to repair my D-Series OP DJ. This watch had been stolen, and was recovered in a damaged and largely-disassembled state (with a trashed pinion wheel and minus the 18kt crown, hands and fluted bezel). Several members responded to my posting with advice, empathy and a bit of humor. Thank you all for your help. Rikki provided the proper part number and part name to get this watch back together and back on my arm. Soooo... I called Rikki at his shop to get more info and advice as to the proper repair, needed parts and service of this horological mess to get this watch back on my arm, and he was 110% AMAZING in every way!!! He made me feel like I was his best and only customer. What a great experience! Rikki took the time and effort to assess the mess; he was patient, casual and friendly. He answered every question I could ask, devoting to me well over one half hour of his valuable time and invaluable information. We even chatted up our beloved Harleys! My watch will be headed to Florida to see him soon, and my mind is again at ease over my beloved Rolex, NO worries! THANK YOU RIKKI! Bottom line- I've got a new watchmaker, and I couldn't have been more happy with Rikki in every aspect possible. This guy is an A-1 Top-Notch Class Act! Again, many thanks to Rikki from the 'new guy'. Kudos where kudos are due! That said, can you all imagine how I'll feel when I actually get my Rikkified Rolex back? Wow, OL |
