Rolex movements are based on ETA??

Hi guys:

i'm confused if Rolex movements are in-house made or based on ETA movements?
i've been collecting for almost 13yrs now and i've thought Rolex uses the in-house movement, but i had a conversation with Hublot assistance boutique manager and he was telling me Rolex is based on ETA not all in-house even with Daytona 4130 movement?

did i miss something here?
he also told me that he has been in watch industry for about a year and kept telling me that Rolex uses ETA and that's why Hublot started using ETA and now switching over to Unico.
