Hi all,

Mike here from Manchester, UK.

The urge has hit, and that time in life has come. I have decided (for better or worse) that a quality time piece needs to be sat on my wrist!

It won't be immediate, the better half's new car has seen to that! However I have agreed with the fair maiden that a few hundred £'s can be sat aside each month, which will be topped up as and when finances allow.

Today I also sealed a further boost by suggesting that on return from our vacation (I'm sat in the South of France typing this, with a large glass of vin!) that I quit smoking cigarettes. The savings this secures, will be split 50-50, between holiday fund - and watch fund. That adds about a further £1500 to the watch fund per annum - smoking in the UK isn't cheap (and it might even give me a few extra years to enjoy the watch - no mention was made of my cuban cigars however )

So, once more hello - and I hope that by the time the funds are right, I've narrowed the list down - at the minute the amount of Rolex / JLC and other brands that I'd love to own seems daunting!
