Drowning in Seattle....

I list my title somewhat jokingly, as we have been getting record amounts of rain lately....
Anyway, you can call me Alice. I live outside the Seattle area and had no idea there was a forum such as this... I sent my 80's model 18k/ss oyster perpetual off for servicing and should hear back by tomorrow with what it needs and how much they are charging...
Am I the only nut that really misses her watch while they are working on it?? I was pretty attached to it! Can't wait to see how it looks when they finish though...
If I had a second Rolex I wouldn't have such a problem.... Speaking of which, in a few months I will probably be looking for a second watch, this time with a champagne colored dial and diamonds....
