In Sydney every October is good food month, which means there are plenty of foodie events on. Last night was young chef's dinner which is by far my favourite event every year as it showcases the hottest up and coming chefs coming through. It was held at Momofuku Seiobo and involved 8 courses with matching wines. Once again it didn't disappoint. Onto the pics.

The menu (you can see the dish, chef's name and restaurant and the matching wine)

And the food (as per menu order)

The abalone dish was my favourite, it was cooked and massaged each day for 3 days before being pan fried and served.....so tender!

And the last pic of the guys hard at work
