1,000 Post Musings

Wow...it took me 7 years to hit 1,000 posts!

Some musings on this occasion:

Had I been smart and hung on to every Rolex I have cycled through I would have a great collection today; however, fickleness took over leaving me with just one (for now)

Like many of us I moved away from the brand for some time but came back. There are a lot of nice watches out there and it was fun to try other brands but I found that in most instances resale was not great...it is a hobby though so losing a little here and there is acceptable I suppose.

Again like many of us my wife does not appreciate the hobby and certainly does not understand why I would spend hours on-line looking at watches. As I type this it DOES sound crazy!

It's interesting to me how you can get to know people on an Internet forum. The one I can't forget of course was JJ.

All in all out of all the watch forums on-line this has been my favorite and has allowed me to become a resident expert on everything Rolex. Neighbors and co-workers are always asking me questions and anything I know about watches I learned here.

So it's been fun hitting 1,000 even if it has taken such a long time.
