A lazy sunday afternoon and a quick 'Guten Tag' from Germany!

Hallo und Guten Tag!

I just wanted to briefly introduce myself to the members of TRF.

After having been a member of another watch forum in Germany for quite a while I have decided to join in here, ie be active at TRF. In my opinion TRF is an excellent source of knowledge and it has a great community which I'd love to be part of.

Just some more details about my 'profile':

My name is Frank. I am 39 yrs old and 'watch-addicted' since the age of 16. My 'watch-history' might sound familiar to one or another:

Introduced to watches by SWATCH, I went totally mad trying to build up a collection including some SEs like Bora Bora, Bergstruessli etc. Selling my SWATCH-Collection helped me funding my first 'real' watch: a Breitling Chrono Cockpit!

To cut a long story short: After the Breitling experience I dared to take a glimpse at Rolex (16610LN) After that I had a closer look at Panerai and Hublot. Although that love-story only lasted for a few years it was good fun but now I am back to ROLEX.

I also quite like other brands but there's still something special about ROLEX and I hv to admit that my 6,5" wrist simply cannot handle the 47mm PAMs. It was OK as long as I liked it myself and I never really cared what my friends said but at some point I thought a 47mm case looks a bit...too much. So back to 'normal' size.

I am looking forward to contributing to this great forum and sharing thoughts every now and then. As soon as I hv figured out how to post pictures I might even do that
