INCOMING......and already gone
Long time members here may remember when Nancy and I bought her oldest son Grant his Sub:
http://www.rolexforums.com/showthrea...hlight=Ironman Last summer was #2, Paul's turn: http://www.rolexforums.com/showthrea...hlight=Ironman A couple of weeks ago we bought son #3, Andrew, a Rolex to mark his 10 year anniversary with his company. We found a W serial 17013 OysterQuartz for him, full package with documents and correct hang tags. The OysterQuartz hang tag even matches the watch, grey on one side and gold on the other. We discussed the choice with his brothers, who all agreed that the OysterQuartz being a bit quirky and non mainstream, matches him perfectly. So, one more to go....... and to put things in perspective I'm currently wearing my beat up old Invicta Sub as I type this. Those kids had better choose us a nice retirement home!!! Most pic below are from the seller, except for the 2 lousy ones I took. The hairy arm is mine, and the last is Andrew. We'd taken him and his wife to our favourite restaurant for dinner, and had set it up for our waiter to bring him a special appetizer. We think he likes it.
