The new Seadweller...

...is fantastic!

I looked at it in person for the first time on Saturday (and started a thread thereafter).

On Monday, late afternoon, I stopped in at the same AD. A perfect time to spend time contemplating the watch. It carries a hefty price tag, so I wanted to really take the time to make sure it was right for me.

It was.

For me, it is a marvelous fusion of classic and contemporary Rolex dive watch features.

I've bought from this AD before, a Ben Bridge. When I asked for the out the door price, the salesman surprised me by offering a modest discount of $520. I'd already decided to buy, but was pleasantly surprised at the discount, which, at least, offset the sales tax a bit.

Once sized, I found it to be very comfortable and wearable. It can certainly be an everyday watch, if you wish.

It's fun to have a new watch, to enjoy the pleasure of a new acquisition. Beyond that, though, it's satisfying to own such a fine watch, supremely well engineered, with classic aesthetic appeal.

Cheers!
