Getting Past the PCL Scratches

I've had my GMTII for about six weeks now. When the light is just right I see a number of tiny swirls and scratches on the PCLs and the clasp. In all other situations, all that I or anyone else sees is a beautiful unmarked watch. I'm not sure if these swirls and scratches were there on day one of ownership because I didn't think to look that closely. And.....since I'm a fairly cautious wearer I'm not even sure how they happened.

As someone who has never (or usually never) been afraid to use a Cape Cod on every scratch that came along, I decided up front to let this Rolex age gracefully and naturally. It feels good and I am enjoying this Rolex more than any other I have had so far.
