FP Journe Chronometre Souverain + Collection Pc
FP Journe Chronometre Souverain + Collection Pc
Been Moving things around recently, bought and sold a few watches, tried out some vintage watches, other current models, sold my long standing companion, my Royal Oak, I realized I wanted a really fine gold watch with a wonderfully finished movement, nothing too complicated, but something beautiful that I can wear every single day. I looked at the usual fair, Patek, Vacheron, Breguet, Lange etc.., I just became enamored with FP Journe, and when I came across the Chronometre Souverain with the Boutique dial, I knew that was the watch for me. Just wears so nicely, slim and elegant, but a nice modern size at 40mm. The dial is jut so gorgeous, I love the numerals, the hands are just perfect, I can really go on and on, but I will let the pictures to the talking, and honestly, this is the type of watch that would look just as good worn with the movement up. Here are some poor picks of my collection, would love to hear peoples thoughts on the Journe and my stable. I have my 30th coming up in about 9 months so I’ll likely add something, or maybe sell the Reverso and Seiko to put it towards it, although I really like them both, I inherited the president, and the Milgauss was a gift from my wife, so both will never leave, and I think the Journe is a keeper. |
