Yachtmaster, about to buy one, need some advice

Hi all, I've been in the market for a Rolex since looking in the store in Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. Particularly a Sub b/c of demand and resale value (hey I'm still young, this is a big investment for me, and if I ever lose my job, I might need to sell)

I found a 3yr old pre-owned Yachtmaster mid for a great price (under 5k USD) and I'm pretty sure I'm taking the plunge but I need some reassurance this is the right move.

I've read alot on the forum. A little concern is that, the YM does not seem to be very popular. Why are they so much more than Subs? As much info to help me decide is much appreciated. I'm sorry for my indecisiveness but this is a big move for me. Thanks everyone in advance and maybe I'll be part of the club soon!
