Passing
Well guys after battling lung cancer for about 10 months, my aunt passed this morning. She was only 64.
She went quietly and without pain with her immediate family at her side. She was a lifelong smoker and her friends are all smokers, so with the first hand and second hand smoke, its no surprise. Further, my grandmother (also a smoker) died of lung cancer. We just had my cousin up visiting us a week ago and I feel kinda guilty that perhaps that visit took away time he could have spent with his mum. In any event, we are glad its over cuz shes had no quality of life since before xmas. Just two weeks ago they found the cancer had spread to her brain and she was slowly losing her motor skills and her mind via pressure the tumors were placing on her brain. I will miss her. |
