Daytona 6262

I an now the owner of my dad's Rolex Daytona 6262. I had it serviced by a Rolex Registered/Certified jeweler, Reis Nichols in Indianapolis. In 1995 they called me during a service and told me that the push buttons needed to be changed to a new style (Screw Down) due to the old ones not holding pressure. I tried to get the old pushers back and they told me Rolex would not allow them to give me the old parts.

So how bad is my watch with out the correct pushers???? I have tried to find the original style pushers and cant find them anywhere.
