Sea Dweller 116600 End Link options - Leather strap

Hi everyone.
Recently bought the Sea Dweller 116600.
Was looking into leather straps and wondering if you guys could help me figuring out my options. I like Everest but currently they only make them for the 16660 and the 16600 model, not for the new one.

Second I was wondering if there's a chance that the link would give out and my watch ends up on the floor. Also considering going strap without end link, but I take it the chance of the spring bar popping out is even bigger then?

I just love the look of this....
