Twice broken down
My fairly new hulk submariner stopped working completely after almost two years and was sent to rolex. Came back working fine. I figured oh well, must have had incredibly bad luck and now that's through. I'd love to have known what was wrong but apparently rolex doesn't disclose that? Now a little more than a year later, my sub is running +14. My wife's new DJ runs +0. Took it to my AD who is now fixing it in house, which is prob fine as they're a decent size boutique in a big city. My question, how unlucky is this? Seems incredibly unlikely. Can it be a lemon? I was just about to invest in a blue YM and a new 39 OP. I'm more than peeved and am flat out angry. Even asked if they'd just give me a new one, Is that way too much to ask? Having to be opened up twice well before its first service? Do I have to have a third strike on this watch?
Really appreciate some thoughts, thanks. |
